Camp Hill is a single-site vineyard planted in 1998 at 250m elevation on rocky red volcanic soils, considered the highest point between the Strzelecki and Great Dividing Ranges. The vineyard faces north with almost 360-degree views of the Baw Baw Shire, with total plantings to chardonnay being approximately half a hectare. The elevated position and volcanic soils encourage deep root penetration, while good air circulation from the exposed site contributes to natural disease pressure management and the concentrated fruit character that defines wines from this distinctive vineyard.
