Located at Woori Yallock in the upper reaches of the Yarra Valley, the Lusatia Park vineyard sits on an excellent north-facing slope at an almost perfect altitude for this part of Victoria. The vineyard was planted in 1985 and is situated on the much desired red basalt soils that contribute to the extraordinary length the wines provide.

WINEMAKING

Hand harvested and whole-cluster crushed and drained to tank for settling. Primary fermentation in barrique (30% new) over three weeks, full malolactic. Weekly lees stirring until MLF complete. Aged ten months in barrique.
NOSE

Yellow peach, white orchard blossom, hints of brioche, a thread of spice, mineral notes.
PALATE

Generous yet precise, ripe orchard fruit balanced by bright acidity. Integrated oak supports the vineyard's natural character. The finish is long, revealing poise and elegance.
